HYANNIS — From African jewelry to ceramic mugs, from newspaper dolls to custom postcards, there was something for everybody at the Amplify POC Summer Vendor Market at Aselton Park on Saturday.
About 30 vendors set up stalls to take part in a new event which organizers hope will turn into an annual event. Amplify POC is a nonprofit organization on the Cape that promotes businesses owned by people of color.
One of the vendors setting up the shop was Naticia Reid, owner of Hyannis' MiniMe Clothing Boutique that offers women’s items, including accessories, handbags, belts and sunglasses. The story also carries sizes from small to 3XL to be size-inclusive.
“Everybody doesn't like the same things," Reid said, "so I try to carry a little bit of everything to suit the needs of each person."
