Amplify: What inspired you to get into this business?
Rivera-Field: I grew up with two hardworking parents that are both very successful entrepreneurs today.
So, you can say, the bar was set high for me as a child. I choose to climb the healthcare ladder at the age of 18, first as a CNA, LPN then RN, RN-BSN and RN-MSN. I was getting burnt out from being a bedside nurse, especially during the pandemic but I’ve always had a passion for wellness, 1:1 holistic, beauty and self-care.
My vision was to incorporate my passion and skills to better care for my family and community.
Amplify: What steps did you have to take to start a business?

Amplify: What struggles did you face when starting your business?
Rivera-Field: Some of the struggles I came across initially was working in my new field. I also attended networking gatherings, promotions, build a clientele and believed in my own capabilities.
Amplify: What mistakes did you learn from when starting your business?
Rivera-Field: A couple of mistakes I found myself learning from was holding myself back due to self-doubt, holding myself accountable for timely restock, timely inventory, effective promoting and pricing of services.

Rivera-Field: In five years, I’d like to have established a thriving clientele, hopefully expanding so that I can provide job opportunities for people who want to learn and succeed within the industry.
Amplify: What are some words of inspiration you would give to an aspiring entrepreneur?
Rivera-Field: To the aspiring entrepreneur, First, keep searching for that passion that ignites you within and surround yourself with like-minded individuals! Discipline and self-encouragement are essential because you need to be able to cheer for yourself even when you don’t want to. But most important of all failure is learning and there is no shame in it.
